A STUDY OF NULL SURFACES IN GRAVITATIONAL THEORY.

Abstract

The unifying element of almost all the research topics discussed in this report is the use and importance of null surfaces in general relativity. However, the research topics themselves are more varied ranging over the question of radiation, the Newman-Penrose constants, equations of motion, and quantum field theory. The report itself consists of a brief introduction describing the basic problems under consideration and then a section in which detailed papers or reports are presented. (Author)
