Abstract

The research is a synthetic report on the thunderstorms over the Kanto District, Japan, containing statistical surveys of thunderstorms, the results of special observations of thunderstorms, radar studies of thunderstorms, cloud seeding experiments and thunderstorms, volcanic eruption and thunderstorms, case studies of local heavy rainfall with thunderstorms, thunderstorms accompanied by hail and the forecasting of thunderstorms.
