Abstract

The contours of Golfo di Pozzuoli (Napoli) are described, mentioning the composition of the shores and islands that form the gulf. In addition, the depth and bottom sediments are discussed, as well as the methods of chemical and mechanical analysis that were used in determining the minerological and petrographical structure of sediments.
