A REAL-TIME SIMULATION OF A HUMAN-CONTROLLED, COMMAND-GUIDED, AIR-TO-SURFACE MISSILE SYSTEM.

Abstract

The paper investigates the feasibility of an air-to-surface missile delivery system employing impact prediction to assist a human operator in controlling the system. The impact prediction information was used to drive a display which the operator used in controlling the flight of the weapon. It was desired to find whether impact prediction proved useful in weapons control. (Author)
