CELESTIAL X-RAY SOURCES.
Abstract
The research conducted under the contract is summarized. Work in the following general areas is described: (1) synchrotron models for x-ray sources, (2) the interaction of the high frequency radiation from x-ray sources with contiguous matter, (3) the secular behavior of the luminosity of x-ray sources, (4) the physical conditions in the pulsating x-ray source in the Crab Nebula, and (5) miscellaneous related topics. A bibliography of all work performed under the contract is given. (Author)
