THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF REACTION-TYPE COMBUSTION CHAMBERS, FUNCTIONING ON A FUEL OF THE TYPE CcHhOoNn WITH A COEFFICIENT OF EXCESS OXIDIZER GREATER THAN 1,

Abstract

A method is presented for the thermodynamic calculation of fuel burning at constant pressure. The expansion of the combustion products to a given pressure on the edge of the nozzle takes place isentropically. The authors state that utilization of the proposed method, thermodynamic calculation can be performed with a specified coefficient of excess oxidizer for fuel containing carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen.
