Abstract

The first of a series of Studies in Human Development was held in March 1970 as part of the postgraduate medical education program of Oxford University's Medical School. Gender differences and their ontogeny and significance for development were discussed by a faculty of pediatricians, geneticists, psychologists and psychiatrists; for a class consisting principally of pediatricians and psychiatrists.
