FLAT PLATE FRICTIONAL DRAG REDUCTION WITH POLYMER INJECTION.

Abstract

A method is developed for prediction of frictional drag reduction in high Reynolds number flows past smooth flat plates with polymer injection near the leading edge. Numerical results are given for water-Polyox WSR 301 solutions with either uniform concentration or injection. (Author)
