RESEARCH ON ELECTRON RICH PLASMA STABILITY.

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental studies were conducted on the production and containment of electron rich plasma in toroidal geometries. Particular emphasis is placed on wave and instability phenomena occurring in this type of plasmas. The experiments demonstrate the existence of toroidal plasma equilibria and show that stability can be ensured under properly controlled plasma conditions, in close agreement with theoretical predictions.
