SHORT-TERM PREDICTIONS ON THE COURSE OF POLAR CAP ABSORPTION.

Abstract

Part II of the Final Report presents the tapes of computer printouts generated by the computerized procedure for short-term prediction on the future course of a polar-cap-absorption event, as described in Part I of the Final Report. The printouts resulted from the use of the programs 'RISE', 'DECAY', and 'NITEREC' in the prediction process for each of the 4 PCA events which began in 7 July 1958, 31 March 1960, 5 April 1960, 4 May 1960.
