CASTING PROPERTIES OF TITANIUM ALLOYS,

Abstract

Results of experimental investigations on the following basic casting properties of titanium-based alloys are given: crystallization kinetics, fluidity, fillingness, tendency to fracture formation, etc. The report shows the effect of a series of factors on the casting properties of alloys and gives recommendations for ensuring a high quality of titanium-alloy castings.
