THE DETERMINATION OF THE RANK OF QUADRATIC FORMS USING LINEARLY INDEPENDENT LINEAR RESTRICTIONS ON LINEAR FORMS.

Abstract

A procedure for determining the rank of a quadratic form was outlined by Cramer and Hald. Additional theoretical verification of this procedure is presented and the results are illustrated with applications in the analysis of variance. (Author)
