RADIOMETEOROLOGY (PART I),

Abstract

The book presents in nontechnical form the application of radio and radar methods for studying the atmosphere and predicting weather. The author has assembled extensive experimental data which confirm the connection between radiowave propagation and weather conditions and the structure of the lower atmospheric layers. The second edition has been revised in accordance with the latest data on the effect of the troposphere and ionosphere on the propagation of radiowaves of various bands, and on the propagation of electromagnetic waves in the real atmosphere.
