SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNETIC SYSTEMS (SELECTED PORTIONS),

Abstract

The book is dedicated to the application of the phenomenon of superconductivity in areas of heavy current electrical engineering and power engineering. Specific problems of designing superconducting magnetic systems are examined. The book contains much information on the mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of different materials at low temperatures, on the relationships of cost of materials, on methods of obtaining helium temperatures etc. (Author)
