OUTPUT AND POLYNOMIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF A NONLINEAR DEVICE.

Abstract

Based on the assumption that the characteristic of a non-linear device is a polynomial of degree M, the paper presents the theory for the prediction of the output of prescribed frequency under general conditions. The theory leads to an unexpected result: it provides the recipe for the determination of the polynomial coefficient by measurement. The number of measurements required is M + l. (Author)
