STABILITY AND OPTIMIZATION OF ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS.

Abstract

One objective of the program was to carefully formulate the simplest models which can account for the essential features of DC-to-DC voltage converters, frequency converters, etc., and to investigate what approximations can be made to simplify calculations with these models. The second objective is to determine to what extent the optimization and stability ideas which have recently become the basic tools of control theorists, can be used to improve efficiencies, switching times, etc., in electronic designs.
