REPORT ON THE TROOP ACCEPTANCE OF SILICONE OINTMENT MDX-4-4078 DURING USE ON COMBAT OPERATIONS IN SOUTH VIETNAM.

Abstract

Silicone foot protective MDX-4-4078 was distributed to Marine infantry troops actively engaged in combat operations. Estimates of troop acceptance of this method of immersion foot prophylaxis was obtained by formal questionnaire. Fifty-eight percent of those interviewed indicated they would use this product if it were supplied during wet operations. (Author)
