NUMERICAL-GEOMETRICAL TECHNIQUES FOR INFORMATION STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL.

Abstract

When a surface is such that its mathematics is intractable, storage and later retrieval for further operations and transformations with it require the storage and retrieval of the three coordinates characterizing each point in space. Some numerical-geometrical techniques are suggested in this paper in an attempt to reduce the number of locations required for storing information related to the surface. (Author)
