EVALUATION OF AN S-BAND TELEMETRY NOSE CONE ANTENNA SYSTEM.

Abstract

The S-band telemetry nose cone antenna system described is an inexpensive and easily constructed antenna system. This antenna has proved to be effective for use on research sounding rockets that have a reasonably stable trajectory. An analysis of the test results for this antenna system as used on an Aerobee 150 rocket at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, is included. (Author)
