Abstract

A brief history of distributor development is given. The requirements and problems to overcome in the development of a distributor having an output of the form Y = sin pi x/pi x and having two input channels are discussed. Development procedures of the many methods suggested are described, together with pictures of the prototypes built and tested. Results of the laboratory tests, ground tests and flight tests are presented and discussed. (Author)
