DoD-CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP--PRELIMINARY REVIEW

Abstract

The study was a preliminary investigation to define the scope of the basic problems in the DoD-industry interface. The results of the study apply to the defense-industry relationship which has been marked by discord and controversy; problems which have resulted in confusion in theory and practice; and the increase in the technological complexity of weapon systems which causes acquisition management to become more difficult.
