INTERPLANETARY SECTOR STRUCTURE NEAR THE MAXIMUM OF THE SUNSPOT CYCLE.
Abstract
The interplanetary magnetic sector structure during 1968 has been investigated. During most of the year there were two sectors per solar rotation. The sector structure remains well established despite the increased solar activity near sunspot maximu. The rotation period of the interplanetary field was 27.0 plus or minus 0.1 days. (Author)
