ON THE MATCHING OF POINTS IN DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE PROJECTIONS OF THE SAME SUBJECT.

Abstract

When analyzing a set of perspective projections of the same subject, it is important to be able to identify those points (one in each projection) that correspond to the projection of the same point of the subject. This must be done for each point of the subject if an accurate reconstruction of the subject from the projections is desired. The report describes a method for finding this correspondence for a pair of projections at a time. All configurations in which the projections can be aligned (assuming restrictions to make the alignments practical) are considered. (Author)
