COMPUTER AS CATALYST IN THE TREATMENT OF NONSPEAKING AUTISTIC CHILDREN,

Abstract

Continued experience with a computer-aided treatment method for nonspeaking autistic children demonstrated improvement effects on thirteen out of a series of seventeen cases. Justification for this conclusion is discussed in detail. Adoption of this method by other research groups is needed for the development of computer-aided treatment. (Author)
