OXYALKYLATED AMINO COMPOUNDS AS LUBRICANTS,

Abstract

By the successive joining of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to ethylenediamine and monoethanolamine, several block copolymer were synthesized. Their evaporability in a thin layer, oxidation stability, viscosity-temperature properties, performance in conditions of friction and rocking (using a 5-ball mill), and antiwear properties (in a 4-ball mill) were studied.
