THEORY OF CONTROL OF THE MOTION OF SPACECRAFT (SELECTED CHAPTERS),

Abstract

An attempt is made to propose a joint theoretical solution of two problems: development of a general theory of controlled motion of spacecraft and development of general principles of construction of systems for controlling their motion. Some of the principles proposed by the author can be used not only for control of spacecraft, but also in systems for controlling the motion of other objects. The following topics are included in this translation: controlled motion of spacecraft; optimum control of motion of spacecraft; methods for determination of optimum programs of control; program of control during approach of spacecraft; program of control during descent in an atmosphere; perturbation influences; optimum laws of control. The book is intended for a wide circle of engineers and scientists who are occupied with problems of automatic control, and also for students in senior courses who are specializing in this field.
