LUBRICANT FOR COLD-WORKING OF METALS,

Abstract

The invention relates to the area of the cold-working of metals by pressure and for the most part may be used in rolling and drawing of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Use of the fatty acid wastes from the production of sebacic acid as a technological lubricant is proposed. When necessary, they are filtered out from the mechanical constituents. Such a lubricant may be used both in the pure form or in the form of an emulsion and in mixtures with vegetable and mineral oils in the required proportion. (Author)
