BEHAVIOR OF MATERIALS UNDER INTENSE DYNAMIC LOADS,

Abstract

Problems of impact compressibility in solid bodies and variations in the mechanical properties of materials under dynamic loading are discussed. Certain problems of stress-wave propagation in dense media, of dynamic deformation in thin-walled shells, and of modeling are examined during intense short-term loads. (Author)
