INTERNATIONAL DATA ARCHIVE AND ANALYSIS CENTER. CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON CONFLICT RESOLUTION (CRCR).

Abstract

The Center for Research on Conflict Resolution has the responsibility for the analysis portion of the International Data Archive and Analysis Center. The analysis activities have several specific goals: (1) testing theoretical propositions that seek to explain international behavior using the data sets available in the Archive; (2) making these results available to interested parties in universities and government; (3) providing feedback to the Archive from a user-perspective on questions such as the adequacy of data documentation, problems presented by missing data, methods of estimating missing data or otherwise dealing with it in the analysis process, and suggestions for useful new directions the Archive might go in data acquisition, analysis capabilities, etc. (Author)
