A GENERAL SUMMARY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN SUPPORT OF TECHNICAL TRAINING.

Abstract

A summary report is made of psychological research on technical training. Chief emphasis was on the development of methodology for the scientific investigation of intact training situations. Correlational methods, in which the final criterion measure is residualized with respect to initial status were explored in various contexts. Contrary to earlier findings, learning and intelligence were found to be related. (Author)
