REPRINT OF FUZE ANTENNA PAPERS,

Abstract

The four reports assembled into this reprint all analyze the sensitivity to reflected energy of the radiation resistance of antennas such as are used in radio proximity fuzes. All these reports include the effects of the induction and quasistatic components of the electromagnetic field as well as the effect of the radiation component. All assume a uniform, infinite reflecting plane. The first report analyzes an infinitesimal dipole antenna; the second extends the analysis to antennas of finite size; the third develops charts to simplify practical computation; and the last condenses the foregoing and extends the analysis to small loop antennas.
