MESOSCALE INPUTS TO MICROSCALE MODELING OF THE ATMOSPHERE.

Abstract

A previously developed model of mesoscale flow has been modified to include a microscale input in the form of a velocity profile with directional changes in the wind velocity in the profile. The modifications of the microscale model which develop its profile are indicated. In particular, Ohmstede's (1966) model of wind moisture and temperature is modified. (Author)
