DISTRIBUTION OF OCCUPATION TIME AND VIRTUAL WAITING TIME OF A GENERAL CLASS OF BULK QUEUES.
Abstract
Bulk queues have been studied by several authors. Neuts (1967) discussed a general class of bulk queues and studied the queue length and busy periods. Because of the computational complexity the distribution of the occupation time and the virtual waiting time has not been studied so far. In this paper the occupation time and virtual waiting time are studied.
