CASE STUDIES IN COMPUTER SIMULATION,

Abstract

The report describes application of the general-purpose computer simulator, TRANSIM IV, to systems analysis of the Long Beach Naval Shipyard computer systems operating under the shipyard's Management Information System workload. The MIS/Computer System Model is described and results are given for a representative simulation analysis to serve as a demonstration example for further problem-solving applications with the model by the LBNSY staff.
