DROP-TIME CONTROLLER AND SAMPLE-AND-HOLD CIRCUIT FOR USE WITH DROPPING MERCURY ELECTRODES,

Abstract

Circuits are described for sample-and-hold measurements at a dropping mercury electrode. The unit is intended for use with the previously described a.c.-d.c. polarograph (AD-708 881). Operation of the instrument in the sample-and-hold mode has inherent advantages, as does the use of a controlled drop-time of the electrode. In addition, automation of data-gathering and analysis will be readily achieved by taking the outputs from the sample-and-hold circuitry directly to an on-line computer. (Author)
