CONDUCTANCES, VISCOSITIES, AND RELATED PROPERTIES OF CONCENTRATED SOLUTIONS OF Bu4NI, KSCN, AND NH4Br IN N,N-DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE FROM -50 TO +125C,

Abstract

Conductance, viscosity, and density data at 25C-intervals between -50 and 125C are reported for moderately concentrated solutions of Bu4NI, KSCN, and NH4Br in N,N-dimethylformamide. Results are summarized for the fitting of these data as functions of temperature and molar concentration to appropriate polynomial equations by digital computer methods. Conductance maxima, conductance-viscosity products, and activation energies of conductance and viscous flow also are discussed. (Author)
