DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE OF A TWENTY-CORNER-CLUSTER REFLECTOR,

Abstract

The paper is a report on the design and performance of a twenty-corner-cluster (icosahedron) reflector. Comparison of the measured cross sections of the icosahedron reflector with those of a cluster of eight corner reflectors used as a standard reflectors shows the former beign superior in performance over the latter in that it gives nearly omnidirectional response.
