SOME PROPERTIES OF MORPHOLOGY AND DYNAMICS OF THE RUMANIAN COAST OF THE BLACK SEA (Nekotorye Cherty Morfologii i Dinamiki Rumynskogo Poberezhya Chernogo Morya),

Abstract

The accumulative north and abrasional south coast of Rumania is analyzed. The types and forms of beaches, sandbars and their variations and modifications resulting from winds, currents, river discharges and other factors are described by individual sectors. Hydrotechnical structures that exist and are being planned are briefly described, pointing out their influence on sediment flow, diversion of water movement and the modification of beaches.
