THE RADIATION EFFICIENCY OF ELECTRICALLY SMALL MULTITURN LOOP ANTENNAS.

Abstract

The report the radiation efficiency of electrically small multiturn loop antennas is examined. Both the normal skin effect loss and the additional loss due to the close proximity of adjacent loop turns are considered. The case of the two turn loop with skin effect and proximity losses is considered in detail and the results are compared with those for the same loop where proximity effects are neglected. (Author)
