M5 AND HIGHER MAGNETIC MOMENTS IN ELASTIC ELECTRON SCATTERING,

Abstract

Consideration is given to the feasibility of determining the higher nuclear ground state magnetic moments through elastic electron scattering. Theoretical and experimental results are presented for the M5 moment of 27Al and the M9 moment of 209Bi. (Author)
