A FORTRAN IV PROGRAM FOR THE GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF GRAVITY ANOMALY DATA,

Abstract

The computer program developed in the report may be used to produce gravity anomaly contour maps based on radomly observed gravity anomaly data. The basis for the contour map is a special prediction technique using the statistical properties of the gravity anomalies and a special contouring technique that enables a specific contour to be identified in the area to be contoured. Maps may be produced at any scale on the Universal Transverse Mercator Projection or the Two Standard Parallel Lambert Conformal Projection. Although the program has been implemented for specific plotting equipment, the use of subroutines will allow minor modification for other equipment. (Author)
