COMPUTER EVALUATION OF MAYER IRREDUCIBLE INTEGRALS IN ONE DIMENSIONAL SYSTEMS,

Abstract

Irreducible integrals for general one-dimensional interaction potentials are evaluated as functions of sets of n-neighbor Mayer f-functions. Exact general evaluations are tabulated for first and second neighbor forces and for k = or < 5. These results are particularized to the nearest-neighbor (Ising) gas, the hard rods gas and the Curie-Weiss gas. Uses of these exact results in analytical studies are discussed. (Author)
