DELTA MODULATION INCORPORATING INTEGRATED CIRCUITS: A FEASIBILITY STUDY.

Abstract

Pulse-modulation and integrated circuits, respectively, are the most recent major advances in the communications field and in electronic devices. The evolutionary development of one pulse-modulation technique, Delta Modulation, is examined in this thesis to determine the feasibility of extending its evolution to the inclusion of integrated circuits in its design. An experimental circuit, demonstrating this feasibility, is described and evaluated. (Author)
