INTERACTION BETWEEN PERSONNELMEN AND ENLISTED MEN - A STUDY. VOLUME II.

Abstract

The documnet presents the dialogues--or 'scenarios'--of the interviews conducted with enlisted men, personnelmen, and officers to gather data for the study of face-to-face interactions between PNs and the men they serve. Enlisted men and PNs from a wide variety of settings were asked to relate favorable and unfavorable situations that involved their professional interactions. They were then required to place the PN described within his particular office function. In the case of enlisted men, they were asked to describe the purpose of the visit to the PN. Their responses were recorded on tape and transcripts were produced. (Author)
