A METHOD FOR CALCULATING THE CURRENT DISTRIBUTION IN A SYSTEM OF LINEAR BIPOLES AND OF THE RADIATION PATTERN IN SUCH A SYSTEM,

Abstract

The calculation methods for linear vibrators have considerable significance in the development of antenna theories as well as for applied antenna technics in the development of antenna systems with a required radiation pattern. The calculation of the radiation pattern with given currents in the vibrators does not present any difficulties. This is a matter of computing single integrals. A somewhat more difficult problem is the calculation of currents in a system of linear vibrators with the computation of their interaction influence. For this question, at the present time there are no known methods of solving these problems. The key to the situation is contained in the compulsory solving of the integral systems of Fredholm equations of the first order, which is to the incorrect problem. Recent development concerning the solution of incorrect problems allowed the establishment of a stable algorithmic solution of the problem of linear vibrator excitation systems.
