A HYBRID COMPUTER SYSTEM SIMULATION FOR DETERMINING OPTIMAL POLICY VARIABLES IN (S,T) INVENTORY PROBLEMS.

Abstract

The report discusses a mathematical model for a periodic review inventory control problem of a single commodity system where the demand per period for the commodity is described by a continuous random variable epsilon (0 < epsilon < infinity) with probability density function phi(epsilon) identically and independently distributed from period to period.
