ASYMMETRIC BUBBLE COLLAPSE STUDIES.

Abstract

The report presents a brief outline of the results of research which was concerned with experimental and theoretical studies of the collapse of cavitation or sub-cooled boiling bubbles under the influence of various asymmetries such as a pressure gradient, the proximity of a wall, an initial asymmetry, etc. (Author)
