TWO NEARLY POLYGONAL HOLES. MATHEMATICAL CRACK PROBLEMS,
Abstract
The paper gives approximate solutions to two practical crack problems, namely a square and a hexagonal hole with small symmetrical corner cracks. The boundaries of the holes including the cracks are idealized by hypocycloids with 4 respectively 6 cusps. (Author)
