PERSONAL DEMORALIZATION AND THE SOCIALIZATION OF MILITARY TRAINEES.

Abstract

Most new military trainees experience some degree of personal and emotional disorganization. The study attempted to determine to what extent these initial feelings of personal demoralization in trainees were related to the extent to which they were socialized to military life at the end of the Basic Combat Training period.
