VALUE OF JOB EXPERIENCE TO TEACHING EFFECTIVENESS OF TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTORS.

Abstract

Air Force technical training instructors with and without field job experience were compared regarding teaching effectiveness. Effectiveness was measured by student grades, student written critiques, and supervisor ratings. Search was made for significant differences between instructors on student overall course grades and critiques. An interaction effect was studied between type of instructor and phase of course.
